However, for convenience sake, we purchased in Straus Park when we decided to relocate to Brevard. After nearly two years of living in Straus Park, we’re definitely here to stay. We have been just spoiled by living here. I’m minutes from Starbucks, restaurants, entrance to Pisgah, hospital/doctors offices, and even “downtown”, etc. Yet our house gives us the “feel” of privacy and seclusion, yet the benefit of having neighbors within “hollering” distance. Obviously last year during the snows, it was cool to be able to just run down to Poppie’s in my Polaris to eat or pick up food.
