We have been just spoiled by living here. I’m minutes from Starbucks, restaurants, entrance to Pisgah, hospital/doctors offices, and even “downtown”, etc. Yet our house gives us the “feel” of privacy and seclusion, yet the benefit of having neighbors within “hollering” distance. Obviously last year during the snows, it was cool to be able to just run down to Poppie’s in my Polaris to eat or pick up food.
