Stephen “Billy” Harris

After graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University in England he set out on a 4-year adventure traveling and working his way through Australia, New Zealand, Africa, Thailand and North America before he settled here in Transylvania County in 2002. An avid outdoor enthusiast, Billy enjoys mountain biking, hiking and running mainly in DuPont Forest and Pisgah. He also serves on the Transylvania Youth Soccer Board and coaches soccer. Family is an important aspect of his life. Billy and wife Kristy were married at “Pretty Place” at YMCA camp Greenville in 2003 and they now share their life with their daughter Emma and two yellow labs.

Hesper Dickson
Hesper has always cherished the unique character of Western North Carolina, not only for the area’s beauty and diversity, but for the deep connections the region has to her family and her past. Whether she’s exploring country roads with clients, or enjoying cycling with friends, Hesper loves the process of discovering places that are new and exciting, but are also reminiscent of her own personal history and the rich character that is unique the Appalachian mountains.
Born in Brevard NC, Hesper earned her bachelor’s degree in Housing and Interiors from Appalachian State University in Boone. She has lived in Henderson, Buncombe and Transylvania counties, working in a variety of aspects of the construction industry, from home remodeling and design to contractor sales. Hesper joined Steve Owen and Associates six years ago and enjoys working with buyers and sellers.
Her familiarity with the region and understanding of the housing industry give her a set of skills uniquely suited to NC real estate. And she takes pride in going the extra mile for her buyers and sellers: her tireless work ethic, comprehensive due diligence, ability to coordinate key players and attention to detail consistently result in successful closings.

Steve Owen
Steve is a native of Brevard and grew up enjoying the forest, streams and waterfalls of the area. He actually met his wife, Martha, on a camping trip in Pisgah National Forest. Steve has been a real estate broker in the Brevard area for over 32 years. His nickname has been “the hard working, nice guy!”… both of which he strives to uphold.

When not engaged in real estate activities, you will find Steve either on the golf course, or with his camera. “Golf creates frustration and photography helps me get rid of it!” Steve is anxious to get his grandson, Gus, on the golf course. Jeremy Owen
As a native of Brevard NC, Jeremy has always appreciated the mountains and his natural surroundings. He is in his element when outdoors and considers that the most relaxing place to be. Growing up he spent most of his free time hiking the many trails of Pisgah National Forest and fishing the French Broad River.
After studying at Clemson University, Jeremy entered the U.S. Marine Corps. His tenure in the Marines fortified his already disciplined take on life. He also established an interest for traveling and appreciation of military history. Family plays a key role in Jeremy’s life, his Dad and late Grandfather have been role models that have molded him into who he is today. Jeremy is married to Abbey Owen, another native of the area. Jeremy and Abbey enjoy spending the weekends taking hikes in DuPont State Forest or Pisgah National Forest with their dogs and nephew, Gus.
